I'm Pamela Jones, a transsexual woman in Charlotte, North Carolina. Like all of us, my journey has had it's fair share of peaks and valleys. There are many positive events taking place which have added to the acceptance and dignity our community enjoys today. Unfortunately, events also take place which threaten and erode the progress for which a high price continues to be paid.
The LGBT community has changed dramatically, and along with it, the transgender community. I decided to share my stories and experiences from the perspective of someone who has been active many years.
If you are not versed on the subject of transgender issues, I hope you will also maintain an open mind. Irrespective of our place on the gender spectrum, each of us is simply seeking fulfillment and happiness. One of us could be your neighbor, friend, coworker or family member.
